Have you ever been running along and felt this intense pain in your abdomen? Well, for starters, it’s probably not your abdomen, but your diaphragm. A side stitch is a cramp or spasm in your diaphragm. But if you don’t tend to it, it can wreak havoc on your run. Fortunately, there are many things you can do while running to resolve side stitches before they stop you.
In this episode, I talk about:
- What a side stitch is
- How side stitches come about
- How to get rid of them without having to stop running
- What to do if a side stitch forces you to stop
- My experience with side stitches
In the inspirational segment of the show I share a parable about CHOICE.
