Today, I’m excited to bring you runner, coach and ex-badminton player Rebecca Adamson of KR Endurance. Several months ago, I asked runners in The Conscious Runner Academy who they would like me to interview and one of the coaches from KR Endurance made the list. When I went to the KR Endurance website to get that coach’s contact information, I saw the biographies of the other KR Endurance coaches (including Rebecca’s) and I knew I had to interview them all.
What I like most about the KR Endurance coaches is that they not only care about you as a runner, but about you as a person.
I had a great time interviewing Rebecca and I’m sure you’ll see why. You can find Rebecca coaching her heart out at KR Endurance.
In this episode, we chat about:
- How Rebecca went from playing badminton to running the Boston Marathon
- How running makes you a happier and healthier person
- The importance of strength training and having a coach
- Heart rate monitor training
- Fueling for long events (including the triathlon)
- Keeping negativity at bay
- Fitting time in to train
- And much more…..
