Let me take you back a bit.
Before I began a running-specific strength and mobility program, every time I increased my mileage or intensity, I would come down with an injury.
I’ve had everything from foot pain to knee pain to ankle pain to hip pain to back pain.
My running would go well for about 4 or 5 months, and then then something would begin to hurt. It would start out gradually, eventually progress and ultimately force me to stop.
Can you relate?
And then one day I had had it with being injured so much, and not being able to train consistently! It was then that I committed myself to consistent, running-specific strength and mobility work.
The result was I was able to run my highest, most consistent mileage ever for several years and feel FANTASTIC while doing it! And here’s the thing, I’m still going! Woot! Woot!
