In this episode, I talk to Timur Crone. I met Timur in a LinkedIn forum for runners.
What drew me to him was the similarity of our interests.
Besides running, we’re both interested in meditation, psychology and Tai Chi.
Timur has been a competitive runner for the past twelve years including high school, UC San Diego Cross Country and Track and Field teams. He’s also a USATF certified coach.
Timur recently completed his Masters in Counseling Psychology at Sofia University (formerly known as the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology) in Palo Alto, CA.
He’s also trained extensively with Master John Bracy (chi-arts.com) in the principles of Chinese internal arts, which he’s  applied to running.
To say I was excited to speak with Timur would be an understatement. I absolutely loved my interview with him and think you’ll enjoy it too.
In this episode we talk about:
- Remembering empathy for yourself and others
- knowing when to push and when to back off
- Running with the mind of mindfulness and meditation
- Benefits of Tai Chi, Bagua, Block training to running
- Whole person coaching
- Being in the zone
- The importance of form
- TRX
